  • Double entry - tunnel trap for live capture of animals and pests. An excellent cat trap, possum trap, animal trap, magpie trap and pest trap for humane live capture of most animals.

    Particularly good for trapping, trap shy animals like rabbits. Also more likely to trap cats that have become trap shy, than other traps.

    Size - 1000mm x 300mm x 300mm

    Will trap most animals that will enter the trap including:

    • Cats
    • Possums
    • Ferrets
    • Stoats
    • Rabbits
    • Hedgehogs
    • Rats
    • Birds (sensitive enough to catch small birds, including sparrows, starlings and magpies. )

    This is a fixed cage trap, no assembly required.
    Can be used with 1 or both doors open.
    Simply place the appropriate bait at the centre of the trip plate or at one end of the trap (if using 1 entry).
    Animals entering the trap stand on the trip plate, the drop down doors close immediately, trapping the animal.
    A small mesh size, along with a strong door locking system, prevents escape of the trapped animal.
    Strong and robust for everyday or professional use.
    The cage trap is made from zinc plated steel, then powder coated green for excellent rust protection.
    The slide up doors allow trapped cats or other animals to be easily transferred to another cage or box.

Feral Cat trap for The Poplars Farm

Trap is a great design. i have fitted a plywood floor so it is easier to ninja in the environment and put some soil onto the floor.
Has had 1 catch already.

Rat trap

So far so good - 2 rats caught, plus 2 ducks, 3 blackbirds and a sparrow lol. Seems to get the rats if we set the trap at night, thereby missing the birdlife during the day. Still, very easy to let the birds free.

Consistently catch throughout the year

Seldom use any bait, have caught and released a number of cats, quail, birds. Caught rats, stoats, ferrets, possums. Set along a natural run beside the hedge its size/mesh must not deter animals. You soon learn how to master the set, end plates are a good weight to drop and lock, middle trip plate has a low profile and light tread to activate.

Double door cage trap

Bought one of these several years ago, and didn't write a review. A couple of things, one door didn't fit, one door track welded in the wrong position. It's also a little bit of a faff to set, a small hook on the trip arm helps so trap can't trip while setting. Best mod was fitting a clipped on cover, this possibly makes the trap more attractive to some animals and is more humane. It's rained every day here this last year. I use Goodnature Chocolate Lure for hedgehogs, rats and possums, pea sized lumps in door ways, trip plate and a couple on approaches.
This trap is the goat.
